Tell me about your The Beginning!
We met the modern way! Through the dating app called Coffee Meets Bagel, I was on exchange at University of South Florida for a year when I decided to give dating/meeting people a try and apps seemed to be fun! We matched straight away and we just hit it off – we talked non-stop over multiple social apps and made a date for the next week almost immediately.

When and where did you get engaged?
We got engaged a couple days before I left in January 2022 – at his place. We had been spending the past week recuperating from COVID, and I kept making plans with friends, to a point where it had to be cancelled. I took a nap and then when I woke up to him cooking some chicken and leftovers. Once he put my plate in front of me as I was sitting on the couch watching The Simpsons reruns, he told me to close my eyes. When I opened my eyes, there was a vase of flowers sitting on the table, and he was bent down on one knee. I didn’t really give him time to ask me the “big question” as I just squealed and said yes straight away.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
We’ve gone for a simple, laid-back style for our Wedding Day – we want no stress, and just lots of fun, much like us. Our colours are all very toned-back with pops of colours.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Caroline – I am most looking forward to finally being married to Matthew and celebrating this moment with friends and family.

Matthew – I’m looking forward to finally being able to call Caroline my wife and to bring our families together in this union. Also the food and drinks haha.
