Yesterday I got to hang out and photograph Jaime & Dylan on their wedding day! It was such a great day, great vibes, lovely friends and family and a great bunch of vendors too!

Tell me about your The Beginning!

We met on Tinder in 2015 and went on a few dates (when jaime didn’t pull out last minute) Jaime pulled out of a few dates due to nerves. Panache date- pre Dylan’s coffee drinking era, ordered a chai latte. We made it official in July 2016, it was a slow start from when we first met to then making it official. We have been together for 8 years. We had our first meeting at Lamby’s in 2015- Jaime was still pulling out of dates even after meeting on the dance floor at lambys. Sailors rest dinner date. Dylan has the patience of a saint- persistence.

When and where did you get engaged?

We were in Bali for our sister in laws 30th. We had been ring shopping the year before and Jaime knew it would happen during the year at some stage but had no idea he would propose in Bali with all of my family around. He were getting ready to go down to the beach to watch the sunset and I did think it was a bit strange as Dylan didn’t want to be late to meet with everyone. When he got to the beach, I remember trying to order drinks, I had left dad to organise that as Dylan had asked if I wanted a photo on a swing and he would stand behind me while I sat on the swing. Again, this was strange as it’s always me asking to have photos together. Once the photo was taken I got up to go and get my phone and mum and Michelle (SIL) had to tell me to turn around and as i did Dylan was on his knee.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?

Not much of a theme. Our invitations are a sage green and we are having stubby holders that are also a sage green colour.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Celebrating with family and friends.
