From there we just rolled on through the day and enjoyed the great food and weather. Read on below for a little bit about them, the team involed and of course, the photos!

Tell me about your The Beginning!

We met on a double date with our best friends. We then didn’t see each other or speak for about 3-4 years. We met again at a party just over 9 years ago (2015) and we’ve been together ever since (Mark thought Maddy was confident, beautiful and smart & Maddy thought Mark was handsome, funny and kind hearted)

When and where did you get engaged?

We got engaged in October 2023 on a weekend away in Daylesford. The town has a lot of meaning to our relationship as it is somewhere we have enjoyed lots of holidays and took our dog on her first camping trip.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?

‘Garden romance’ We have lots of layered colour and texture all set amongst the natural Australian landscape of the Barwon River. We’ve brought in beautiful summer pastels in combination with more natural colours the reflect the unique landscape of the area.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Great food! enjoying spending time with our nearest and dearest! Celebrating our love and (almost) 10 year relationship.

Top Tips!

Stress less and use excel for spreadsheets! Plan the wedding that YOU want and not what everyone else wants. Choosing a somewhat low-key wedding with a very limited guest list has meant we aren’t stressing or worried about what people think, what will happen on the day or if anything goes wrong. We have really been able to enjoy our engaged life and look forward to the celebration!
