Tell me about your The Beginning!
We met on 20 August 2016 on Lygon street after chatting online for a few weeks prior. We ate at cafe Cavallino, Mel had pasta and Mark had an entire pizza. We went for a walk around Lygon street getting to know each other. Conversation was flowing!
When and where did you get engaged?
The way mark proposed was more than I’d ever ever imagined! I had a feeling it was going to happen but not when and the way it did. We’d planned a trip to Bali for my 30th birthday and the day of my birthday went to the Bali swings. Apparently mark didn’t know when he was going to do it but when he knew we were going there he knew it was the perfect place! After going on every swing, taking photos and stopping for a coffee, I was ready to go. Mark wanted to go on one particular swing again and I was hesitant. I thought “why? we just went on it!”. I ended up agreeing and while posing for some photos he asked me to marry him! I was speechless, in shock and immediately started crying. I knew I’d get emotional when time came but didn’t think that much! I took the ring but at this point hadn’t even said yes haha so he asked me again and I said yes. The photos we got prove just how amazingly beautiful it was. It was perfection.
What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
Formal attire but a casual relaxed vibe! Obviously being at home wedding we want it to be as relaxed as possible 🙂
What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Mark said “seeing you darls!” Awwww!

Apart from seeing marks face (and hopefully a tear😉) after the ceremony and formalities are finished and we can get the party started!!
